How Bad are the Colts?

Oct 25, 2011

Note even two full seasons after the two teams met in the Super Bowl, the Saints beat the Colts 62-7.  If I could put numbers in "all caps", I would.  I know Peyton Manning is great, but wow.  The Colts have already lost more games this season than they have in any other single season in the past 10 years.  On the other end of the spectrum, Drew Brees, like Tom Brady, is on pace to break Dan Marino's single season yardage record.  Several other Saints are on a record-breaking pace.  You can check out more historical happenings from what was an otherwise pretty boring weekend in the NFL in this article at Inhistoric.

So, after seeing what the Colts have done this year, how much do you think one player can mean to a team?  What do you think about teams that run up the score?  Is it more on the team that's doing the scoring, or the team that's being scored on?

The coolts are a very good team, but without Payton Manning its really difficult to get victories. Many people will say one player cant affect a team but i defintly disagree. Other teams running up the score..Whats wrong with that? IMO nothing is, the team who isnt scoring is out of luck. If i were a coach i would want my team to dominate wether the other team is scoring or not. I bet Indianapolis is ready for Payton to recover from his injury.
